Sorry for the sensational title of this week’s FE Soundbite – but that is a very, very concerning trend that ONS is finding on the latest labour market figures.
We have a great sector response article here: Low unemployment masks largest fall in labour force participation among over-50s since records began!! Someone who is 50, has nearly 20 years left until retirement. This is a very worrying stat!
