ALT and JISC sign two year agreement

JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) and ALT (Association for Learning Technology) cemented their successful working relationship by signing a new two year memorandum of understanding (MOU) at ALT’s annual conference in September 2008.

Dr. Malcolm Read, executive secretary at JISC, and Seb Schmoller, chief executive at ALT, signed the new MOU, which builds upon several years of collaboration.

Dr Read said: "This memorandum of understanding demonstrates our commitment to collaboration and innovation in exploiting the potential of technology across the UK education and research communities.

"We are looking forward to working with ALT to be able to help broaden expertise and knowledge across the learning technology communities, both in the UK and internationally."

Seb Schmoller chief executive at ALT said: "This agreement not only enables us to share and disseminate best practice in learning technology, but will also help inform the national and international policy agendas."
