What is the Skills Act in the UK?
The Skills Policy Act in the UK addresses various facets of skills enhancement and education.
This Act covers provisions on local skills improvement plans, further education, the functions of the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, technical education qualifications, apprenticeships, student finance, fees, assessments, and the publication of certain matters by the Office for Students.
Additionally, it deals with the funding of specific post-16 education or training providers, creates offenses related to completing assignments on behalf of students, and addresses the designation of 16 to 19 Academies with a religious character, among other connected purposes.
