Developing a Robust Apprenticeship Training Plan

The training plan outlines how the apprentice will be supported to successfully achieve the apprenticeship. A compliant training plan is a complex document and during the course of our audit work, we regularly see examples of non-compliant training plans or poor practice. At this seminar we will consider:

• What a training plan is for and why it is important
• What must be included within the Training plan to meet the Funding Rules requirements
• The different delivery models and their impact on off-the-job training requirements
• How to create a robust training plan & schedule
• The effect of RPLE on the training plan
• Documenting functional skills within the training plan
• The requirements in updating the training plan
