Solvendis have been proactively delivering governance, audit and funding compliance services in the post-16 sector for over a decade. Our knowledge and experience is extensive and our seminar programme includes workshops on Preparing for an Apprenticeship Audit, Understanding Apprenticeship Funding, Effective use of PDSATs, Learning Support – Getting it Right and Recognition of Prior Learning.
Solvendis also deliver workshops on Establishing an Effective Board and Effective Board Reporting and support our team are appointed as Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) to over 35 different organisations.
Key Outcomes Of The Day
In light of the publication of new guidance by the ESFA we will be running a specific
workshop which will consider:
– The new required/recommended/discretionary rule requirements
– The implications on Board Membership and the Terms of Reference
– The Audit & Risk Management Committee – ‘do we/ don’t we’ and how should we
approach it
– The merits of an ‘Internal Audit Service’
– The Funding Compliance Scrutiny Review
At the workshop we will consider the structure of governance, the implications for reporting arrangements and will share suggested draft material to help providers adjust to the new expectations.
