DfE today (6 July) released an evaluation of what is needed to provide better work placements for young people in technical education.

The report looks at:

  • effective practice in work placements
  • how to increase the scale of current work experience
  • challenges to providing placements and how to overcome them

It discusses the post-16 skills plan, which proposes to develop a framework to support young people and adults in sustainable skilled employment.
