Creating a pipeline of new digital vocational learning solutions: 2020 Grant Funding Call Opens January

As part of Ufi VocTech Trust’s funding schedule for next year, applications for VocTech Seed grants will be accepted between January 21st and February 13th.

VocTech Seed offers funding opportunities of between £15k and £50k for projects that will take between 3 and 12 months to complete.

The programme supports the development of early stage ideas, small scale testing, proof of concept work, and the development of strategies to scale once Ufi funding has ended. It aims to create a pipeline of new digital vocational learning solutions by supporting innovative and creative projects at an early stage of development to reach a point where they can demonstrate their potential to customers or funders by proving a concept and planning a route to market.

As well as the grant funding, VocTech Seed offers unique opportunities for projects in the programme to access experts and networks that can actively support their work.

Ufi VocTech Trust are holding a series of free Workshops between now and the closing date for applications (February 13th), to help those interested in applying to decide if this funding is for them.

Louise Rowland, Ufi VocTech Trust’s Programme Director, said

We’re very excited to announce what we think is a fantastic route to funding and look forward to seeing as many projects as possible at one of the Workshops we hold. We would encourage anyone who is interested in finding out more about this funding opportunity to sign up to attend a workshop to find out if your project is ready for this funding.

Book your place on a Workshop planned for next year’s VocTech Seed call:

  • Cambridge, Wednesday 22nd January
  • Glasgow, Tuesday 28th January
  • London, Tuesday 4th February
