Activate Learning (@Activate_Learn) is pleased to announce that it has been chosen as one of the partners to deliver apprenticeships with premium pubs and hotel business Fuller’s, within the Oxfordshire and Cotswolds area.
Commis Chef and Chef de Partie apprentices will spend one day a week in City of Oxford College’s brand-new state-of-the-art training kitchens. Their other four days will be spent at one of Fuller’s pubs or hotels, being mentored by the Head Chef.
Activate Learning’s City of Oxford College joins Fuller’s partner network of colleges, which includes Bath College, Brockenhurst College, Havant & South Downs College, Milton Keynes College, University College Birmingham, Westminster Kingsway College and Weymouth College.
The apprenticeship programmes at City of Oxford College will commence on 13 September.
Upon completion of their apprenticeship, apprentices will be offered a permanent role, at one of Fuller’s Managed Pubs and Hotels.
Andy Slater, Director of Delivery, Activate Learning, said:
“We are extremely excited that Fuller’s has chosen Activate Learning as one of their preferred training providers for their hospitality and catering apprenticeship programmes from September 2021.
“The partnership will marry City of Oxford College’s brand-new state of the art kitchens with one of the country’s leading hospitality brands.
“The apprentices will come from across Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds to complete a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie apprenticeship, underpinning Activate Learning’s unique Learning Philosophy.”
Craig Parsons, Apprenticeship Manager, Fuller’s, said:
“Fuller’s is delighted to welcome Activate Learning into its partner network of eight colleges that provide its award-winning Fuller’s Chefs’ Guild Apprenticeship programmes.
“Our college provider network for our Chef Development programmes has expanded to increase our exemplary provision to our newest acquisition, The Cotswold Inns & Hotel Group.
“This journey we are on to deliver best-in-class education to our people is an exciting one and Activate Learning demonstrate the highest standards of training we expect for our apprenticeships.”Recommend0 recommendationsPublished in
