Clients enjoy Havant & South Downs College Beauty students’ pamper days

Beauty students from Havant & South Downs College (HSDC) created a day of ultimate relaxation for members of the public during their Easter pamper days.

The day, held at HSDC’s industry-standard Synergy Salon, took place on 3 and 4 April. On Wednesday, Level 3 students performed a full body hot stone massage for their clients, as well as a micro current facial.

On Thursday 4 April, Level 2 students treated clients to a facial, a two-course lunch with tea and coffee served by Catering & Hospitality students at the College Restaurant, followed by a luxury manicure and pedicure.

Pamper days at the HSDC salon always receive high praise, as this year proved to be no different.

Talking about the experience, client Farzana Mirza: “It’s been really nice – the facial I had this morning was lovely. The students have all been very professional and they know what they’re doing.”

Shelly Price said: “This is my second pamper day at the salon and I do book in massages every now and then too. I’ve always had good experiences here and it is great value for money. It’s also great to give the students a chance to practice on someone.

“The whole experience has been great today; it’s been nice to come away and take some time out from a busy week. It’s been great to have some ‘me’ time!”
