Richmond, The American International University in London (@richmonduni), is delighted to announce that it is one of the top five London universities for overall satisfaction levels in the quality of the course (79.1% satisfaction) as voted by students in the latest National Student Survey (NSS) results.

The NSS gives students the opportunity to say what they think about their university or college course.  Four million students from 407 institutions have taken part in the 2021 survey which has just been published.

Dr Allison Cole-Stutz, Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students, said

“It’s been a very difficult year for our students, faculty and staff but it’s very encouraging to hear the positive feedback from our students about the high quality of the University’s teaching, the learning opportunities available to students, the support and guidance offered, especially through these unprecedented times,  and perhaps most importantly, the sense of community that has always been the foundation of the Richmond student experience. This result is testimony to our community’s resilience and persistence and I would like to thank everyone in the Richmond community for helping us achieve this result.”

Richmond is the UK’s pioneering liberal arts University, which is celebrating its 50th birthday in 2022, having been founded in 1972.  It is also the UK university which awards all of its undergraduate and postgraduate students both a UK and US degree.  With students from 60 countries currently enrolled at the University, students are encouraged and supported to flourish in a mix of diverse cultures, backgrounds and perspectives. Diversity, choice and freedom are hallmarks of the Richmond curriculum which provides students with a unique experience.
