Integrating Social Value into Tenders

April 10 @ 10:00 am 11:00 am

Overview The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 is becoming a more and more important component in Governmental tenders. The Act calls for all public sector commissioning to factor in economic, social and environmental well-being in connection with public services contracts. This means there is a requirement that all public bodies in England and Wales, including Local Authorities, and NHS organisations, consider how the services they commission and procure might improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the area they are delivered in. This webinar will explore the background to the act and provide practical hints and tips on how to respond to questions within tenders aligned to the Act. Objectives This webinar will help delegates to:
  • Understand the Act and its implications when bidding;
  • Identify what Social Value they can bring to education and skills development contracts;
  • Respond to Social Value questions within education and skills based tenders.
Who should attend Those responsible for tender production, contract mobilisation and public sector engagement, including:
  • Directors;
  • Business Development Professional;
  • Proposal Writers;
  • Sales Managers;
  • Stakeholder Managers.
