Hayley’s expertise spans education leadership and management as well as curriculum planning and development. She started in post on 29th September 2025.
Hayley began her career as a secondary school English teacher before moving onto the further education sector, initially as a head of department.
Her remit has covered adult education, engineering, construction, service industries, and the launch of A Levels, T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications.

The latest Strategic Plan 2025 – 2030 outlines the college’s top priorities which focus on four key themes: learning, people, partnerships and sustainability.
As part of the learning theme, the college is committed to delivering a curriculum that keeps pace with industry, prepares students for work and life and provides high quality teaching, learning and assessment. Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment where students are listened to is a priority.
Becoming the first choice education and training partner for employers and embracing innovation and technology are also highlighted in the plan.
The college recently launched its Advanced Technology Centre, which specialises in engineering, motor vehicle, gas fitting and plumbing qualifications including apprenticeships, vocational diplomas and T Levels.
As part of a £5 million upgrade, the Advanced Technology Centre has been fitted with an immersive classroom and new industry standard facilities.
