We have a chat with ERSA Chief Executive Kirsty McHugh at the ERSA annual conference.

Kirsty takes time out to chat about what is happening in the sector at the moment and what the future might hold. Kirsty explains that the main themes of this year’s ERSA conference is around making Brexit Britain Work, with a particular emphasis on Political, Economic and Social injustice challenge. Kirsty explains that there is a lot of uncertainty across the sector at the moment and a huge amount of change. She also explains that with Sarah Newton as the new Minister of State for Disabled People, Health and Work, there have been seven Ministers, in the past seven years, which all poses a challenge to the sector.
