From education to employment

Freshers Festival Group launches the UK’s largest virtual student event this September

The #Virtual @FreshersFest – Tens of thousands of students, incredible content creators, and some of the biggest brands in the world are coming together in the UK’s largest digital student event

2020 has been a strange year, especially for students. From jeopardised GCSE and A-Level results to online lectures and cancelled Freshers weeks, COVID-19 has really taken its toll on young people across the UK:

“Ever since my older siblings went to University, I have been so excited to finish school and start my own journey. Obviously this year looks very different and I don’t want to miss out on that first-year experience. My friends feel the same and quite honestly, it sucks.” Dan P, 19 – Sheffield (Taken from a Student Survey in May 2020)

No student should miss out on their university experience, which is why The Freshers Festival Group is bringing students an amazing event that they can access from the comfort of their own home (and devices). Virtual Freshers Festival is the ultimate guide to surviving and thriving as a student in 2020. Last year over 26,000 students in London, Sheffield, and Glasgow took part in the Freshers Festivals, and this year’s online event is set to be even bigger.

Virtual Freshers Festival is jam-packed with content to lift spirits and make students feel a part of an incredible community. The free event gives young people the opportunity to access discounts and goodies, brand promotions, health and welfare content, information from local University and College societies, live Q&As with their favourite influencers and discover what employers across the country are looking for and so much more.

The Freshers Festival Group are known for their work with top brands and have collaborated with everyone from Domino’s to Deliveroo and Coca-Cola to Clinique. If students are looking for quality content, expert advice, giveaways, offers and a chance to grab a digital Goodie Bag, then they will not want to miss out on the chance to join thousands of others this September.

Graeme Barratt, Managing Director & Founder of Freshers Festival Group, said:

At Freshers Festival Group our goal is to create live and online events encouraging students to connect with each other as well as the brands and organisations they need to make their time in education fun, positive, healthy and successful. We want to make sure that students don’t look back and think of themselves as the cohort who missed out on their fresher’s experience. That’s why we are creating Virtual Freshers Festival, a platform that brings amazing deals, informative content, fun experiences and a chance to network to students across the UK and beyond.
