Further Growth of FECareers Coverage for Benefit of F

College jobs.co.uk has been launched this week by the specialist Further Education job site, FE Careers.

This launch was a response to a visible demand from FE College job seekers and College advertisers for a further growth in the provision. Collegejobs.co.uk is a job vacancy website that targets people looking for a job in Further Education, especially in Colleges, and should serve as an important tool to those seeking employment in the FE College sector.

Retention of the most qualified and best trained staff is an issue that plagues FE, and part of the solution to this is to provide the broadest and most comprehensive career development options so that FE professionals can satisfy their own personal aspirations at the same time as remaining in FE. This new site is set to become a common ground for College advertisers and College job seekers who are able to match special college requirements.

Powered in FE

College jobs.co.uk is powered by Further Education job site FE Careers.co.uk and has been developed to widen their portfolio of specialist jobsites. FE Careers has a very strong presence in advertising Work Based Learning job vacancies and has set up College jobs.co.uk to promote their FE College job vacancies to the benefit of all parties.

FE Careers advertise job vacancies across the whole FE sector, with some 25% of their advertisers FE Colleges. The strategy behind College jobs.co.uk is to attract College job seekers and Colleges to advertise more of their positions on the website and to build upon achievements in recent months.

Thus far, 2006 has been very successful for FE Careers. Four new niche sites have been launched in January to target the Work Based Learning sector and have made a dramatic increase to both visiting candidates and new advertisers. A month after launching their new niche websites FE Careers saw a 25% increase in visiting candidates and had a 50% increase from training providers and specialist recruiters advertising.

Last month was FE Careers most successful month to date, with record numbers of visitors, unique visitors, hits and advertisers. Due to these incredible results with their niche job sites in work based learning, FE Careers has launched this specialist College site, hoping to repeat its success.
