Lewisham College celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

@LewishamCollege will run a series of Virtual Roadshows events for schools to celebrate #NationalApprenticeshipWeek 2021 and spread the word about the many benefits apprenticeships offer.

Asfa Sohail, Principal said: “At Lewisham College, we are excited to take part in National Apprenticeship Week and bring the Virtual Roadshows to our local community to showcase and highlight the many benefits of apprenticeships and to encourage learners to take a different route to achieve their career ambitions.”

The Virtual Roadshow sessions will run from Monday 8 till Friday 12 February, where participating schools will be offered an online presentation covering information about apprenticeships, benefits of doing an apprenticeship, myth-busting sessions, and much more.

To register your school for a session, email [email protected].

Apprenticeships are a practical, nationally recognised qualification where apprentices can earn a wage while studying, receive hands-on training with an employer, gain invaluable industry experience, and the opportunity to network within the industry.

This year’s National Apprenticeship Week will take place from Monday 8 to Sunday 14 February.
