New Partner School in Noida, India

Gower College Swansea has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prometheus School in Noida, India.

Prometheus School is CIE (Centre for Interactive Education) accredited and was attracted to Gower College Swansea by our experience and success in the A Level programme. This exciting partnership will collaborate on a number of areas including summer and winter schools, online tutorials, and the Oxbridge Preparation Programme.

Mark Jones, Principal, said of the partnership “Gower College Swansea is delighted to announce its first partner in India as Prometheus School, Noida. Internationalisation is a priority of the College, and we look forward to a productive and long-term collaboration with Prometheus School.

“Throughout our history, we have helped thousands of students reach their potential and progress to some of the world’s best universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. Likewise, we hope to help students in India to realise their dreams, and this partnership with Prometheus School will be instrumental to this mission.”

Ms Rashima Varma (pictured), Principal of Prometheus Secondary School, added “‘It’s a great privilege to sign an MOU with Gower College Swansea, which is a leading college in Wales, offering the A levels curriculum. We are very excited with this partnership, as it provides opportunities for building cultural ties, sharing of best practices through teacher exchanges and quality assurance.”

The first online winter school is planned to take place in January 2021.
