New rankings reveal the best universities in the UK (and it’s not Cambridge or Oxford)

New rankings released by University Compare have revealed the best universities in the UK for 21/22.

As part of their yearly rankings, University Compare has ranked UK universities using reviews from current and past students.

The reviewers rate many categories: accommodation, course quality, graduate careers, and student social life — they also ask students if they would recommend their university to a friend.

In their 2022 rankings, Loughborough University came out on top, climbing four places from last year’s rankings. They were also ranked highest when it came to course quality and accommodation.
