The 5% Club Honours Three New Fellows for Outstanding Leadership in Workplace Learning

The 5% Club has announced the appointment of three distinguished new Fellows during its Awards Celebratory event at Mansion House, 3 December 2025. The 5% Club Fellowships recognise individuals whose exceptional leadership, advocacy, and commitment have significantly strengthened the movement towards more accessible and effective earn-and-learn opportunities across the UK.

These prestigious Fellowships honour those who have gone above and beyond in championing apprenticeships, graduate pathways, and sponsored student programmes. Each Fellow has played a vital role in advancing The 5% Club’s mission to create a more inclusive and socially mobile workforce through high-quality workplace learning. Joining 16 other exceptional members, already recognised as Fellows, the 2025 Fellows are:

  • Andrea Fisher, Early Careers & Professional Development Manager (UK), BAM UK & Ireland
  • Ellie Jobes, Group People Director, Bagnalls
  • Stephen Wilde, Managing Director, Southbourne Rubber

As Fellows, they will help shape The 5% Club’s strategic agenda, contribute thought leadership, support key events, and broaden the organisation’s reach through their professional networks. Each will also be invited to join either the Business Leadership Council or the Expert Advisory Council in recognition of their expertise and ongoing influence.

Reflecting on the significance of the awards, Mark Cameron OBE, CEO of The 5% Club, said:

“Today’s Fellowships celebrate three remarkable leaders whose dedication and insight have helped propel The 5% Club’s mission forward. Their contributions—both strategic and deeply personal—have strengthened our work over the last decade and reinforced the importance of high-quality earn-and-learn programmes nationwide. These new Fellows embody what it means to champion opportunity, inclusion, and social mobility, and we are immensely grateful for their continued leadership and support.”

The Fellowships reaffirm The 5% Club’s commitment to raising standards in workplace learning and creating a national culture in which skills development is recognised, celebrated, and accessible to all.

Ellie Jobes, Group People Director, Bagnalls

Andrea Fisher, Early Careers & Professional Development Manager (UK), BAM UK & Ireland

“This Fellowship is a powerful recognition of the work we’re driving at BAM UK & Ireland to champion early careers and create real pathways into our industry. Earn-and-learn programmes are at the heart of BAM’s approach to developing future talent, and The 5% Club has been an essential voice in promoting their value.  I’m excited to continue working with The 5% Club and its members to accelerate progress and widen opportunities across the sector.”

Stephen Wilde, Managing Director, Southbourne Rubber
