The AoC Beacon Award for Enterprise

Are you the most enterprising college?

The Beacon Award for Enterprise sponsored by Make Your Mark recognises enterprising colleges in the UK. The winning college will display a commitment to creating an enterprise culture across the organisation, to embedding enterprise learning throughout the curriculum, and to providing enterprise opportunities for a diverse range of learners. Last years winning college Ystrad Mynach showed they had dedication to developing their learner’s attitudes, skills, potential and drive to turn ideas and opportunities into reality. As well as the prestigious award and a chance to show case the colleges’ excellent work, Ystrad Mynach received £5000 which is currently being used to design and make a creative room for the students to unleash their minds and generate ideas!

The award is an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of your college, show case and share best practice, and act as a development grant to help realise the full potential of your enterprise project!
