From education to employment

Digital marketing apprenticeship launched in London

A new apprenticeship is being launched to enable young people in London to unleash  their creativity and learn how to make online communications work for a business.

Training provider QA Apprenticeships will roll out the scheme in March with an initial intake of 16 apprentices, who will gain skills in search engine optimisation (SEO), online advertising, social media, and image and video editing to industry standards.

Ben Pike, managing director of QA Apprenticeships, said: “This is a very exciting apprenticeship and one that is very much needed by employers seeking to harness the online world to drive their business forward. It is a route for creative and technically-minded people to boost a brand’s online exposure, and present it creatively.

“These young people will have a fantastic launch pad into a marketing career, earning an industry-recognised qualification at the same time as earning a salary.”
