AELP Webinar: Preparing for the new UK Shared Prosperity Fund

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is a £2.6bn three-year domestic fund running from 2022-23. It replaces European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) such as the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF).
The people and skills investment priority of the fund will boost core skills and support adults to progress in life and work. This will be achieved through:
• Targeted offers, which respond to local needs
• Support for adults with no or low-level qualifications and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Funding for this stream was due to come on-line from April 2024, however recent changes in Government policy have meant that Combined and Local Authorities can launch projects this year.
