Birmingham-based online learning provider, Oxbridge Home Learning, has taken on three key members of staff as part of its rapid expansion and ambitious growth strategy.
The company, which was only established three years ago, has brought in Savannah Seger, Alicia Wilkins and Rob Elsmore to bolster its communications team and help increase enrolments.
Savannah and Alicia will work on digital communications of the online courses, which aim to help people of all ages and backgrounds across the UK further their education and career prospects from home. Meanwhile, Rob has joined the company as a content writer.
Savannah, 23 of Moseley, said: “I want to share my passion for learning and am committed to helping others progress in their education and career. I completely agree with the Oxbridge Home Learning ethos, to help make education and learning a lifelong pursuit, and a product is much easier to market when you believe in it.”
Alicia, 20 of Walsall, added: “I experienced amazing support as an apprentice working towards a diploma in digital marketing, and it made me want to inspire others to learn, the way my tutor inspired me. This is the perfect role to enable me to do that.”
Rob, 33 of Meriden, said: “I went back into education in my twenties, a time when the concept of virtual learning was relatively new. Unaware of this, I embraced on-campus study and relocated to fulfil my goals. With recent advancements in online study, I want to illustrate how rewarding it is to study your ideal course from the comforts of your own living room.”
Founded in 2015 by Matt Jones, Oxbridge Home Learning is based at Faraday Wharf on Birmingham Science Park and today employs 45 people.
Matt said: “We’ve achieved a considerable amount in a very short space of time but we don’t want to rest on our laurels. We have an ambitious growth plan in place and, with the right people in place, I’m confident that we can achieve it.
“Savannah, Alicia and Rob all have amazing enthusiasm for the business and are already making great strides in improving our communications. They have gelled as a team, and with what we deliver as an education provider, and are coming up with some brilliant, creative ideas that focus on the benefits of our courses for clients.”Recommend0 recommendationsPublished in
