VT Education & Skills signs three year contract with City & Guilds.

VT Education & Skills, one of the UK’s largest training providers, has signed a three year contract with City & Guilds following a competitive tender.

Under the agreement worth potentially over £3 million, City & Guilds will provide VT Training with a comprehensive and innovative range of products and services designed to meet the needs of learners and maximise their achievements.

Both organisations intend to collaborate jointly on new product development and grow new business opportunities. City & Guilds will also provide VT Training with a full range of qualifications including catering and hospitality, retail and health and social care ““ areas where both parties have specific expertise – as well as dedicated customer and product support, verification services, and advice and guidance on strategic matters.

Simon Withey, managing director of VT Education & Skills confirmed that both organisations had been working together for eight years. “We are delighted to have formalised our relationship with City & Guilds into a long term strategic alliance. Our partnership brings together two of the leading organisations in vocational training and qualification awards into a unique relationship. We look forward to working together to provide an excellent and innovative service to our customers.”

His views are echoed by Chris Humphries, director-general of City & Guilds: “Learners are at the heart of our joint collaboration and are set to obtain real benefit from our collective expertise and resources. We will be exploring how we can maximise learners” achievements and encourage them to update their skills in a competitive environment and to progress onto the next level.”
