From iPad learning to engaging students with AR to zero touch deployment, Jamf, the leaders in Apple Enterprise Management, will be sharing a host of expertise and insight into their work in the education space at the upcoming BETT exhibition. They will be bringing many guest speakers to their stand to share great stories about how they have been using tech (and Jamf) in schools.

Jamf Education, one of the dedicated branches of the Jamf brand, is a specialised software platform that has become been a key player in the edtech field, helping schools deliver an active learning environment through apps and services via the Apple School Manager. This includes a range of services that target four main areas and groups that are involved in the education lifecycle: Jamf Teacher, Jamf Student, Jamf Parent and Jamf Assessment. Each offers different capabilities that allow for management of devices being used by each party, personalised to their role and the function they are looking to serve.

During a time when technology has never been more important as a tool in education across all age groups, Jamf has served as a cornerstone for schools and teaching institutions to help ease the pressures on learning. Currently empowering more than 36 million students across 32,000 schools around the globe, the management platform always looks to innovate with all educational stakeholders in mind.

However, most importantly, security and privacy are always a priority during the development of the Jamf Education platform. Tackling security challenges that arise when connecting students and devices over multiple devices is paramount, alongside making sure these channels protect both parties’ privacy. As many schools transform their classroom’s digital experience, a feat that was expedited by the pandemic, it is vital that teachers, parents and students are protected from what is an ever-changing technological landscape. Having a platform such as Jamf in place, makes this a smooth and easy transition, given their understanding of the space and integration of capabilities into their platforms that give students and teachers the tools they need for success.

The use of technology in the classroom can be a hugely valuable asset, but how it is implemented must be careful and considered in order to conserve both children’s and adults’ privacy, and their information secure. Effective and efficient communication across the industry on developments such as new teaching tools or methods for learning is important and necessary to ensure technology is harnessed in a safe and protected environment.

Jamf’s stand will be located in the South Pavilion at stand SF51, where Jamf’s Product Marketing Manager for Education, Senior Education Sales Manager for UK and Ireland, and Senior Director of Product Strategy for Education will all be stationed.
