Care Services Route Review
The Institute for Apprenticeships and Tecnical Education (the Institute) is responsible for ensuring that high-quality apprenticeships and technical education is available to learners.
The Route Reviews help us to do this. They help us to take an overview of the Route and specific standards that are in scope, so we can ensure that apprenticeships standards continue to meet our occupational requirements, are relevant and are up to date, and deliver for employers and apprentices.
The Institute has announced today that the upcoming route reviews for the Health & Science and Care services sectors, have been postponed.
The Institute announced that the route reviews would be expected to launch during Summer 2020. However, due to the unforeseen circumstances that Covid-19 has presented and the impact of this review on key sectors, we have made the decision to delay the launch until further notice. This will ensure we can engage effectively with those in the sectors delivering the apprenticeships.
