The @BartonPeveril Sixth Form College Marketing Department have won six awards in the national FE First Awards 2020, in a virtual ceremony held on Monday 30th November 2020. 

The Department was recognised in the Innovation & Creativity, Digital & Social Media Campaign, Targeted Recruitment Campaign, Communications Campaign, Outstanding Individual Achievement in College Marketing, and Marketing Team of the Year categories.

The FE First Awards celebrate the achievements of the nation’s College Marketing Departments, with those shortlisted being awarded a Highly Commended, Silver Award, or Gold Award.

Barton Peveril’s Marketing Department, which consists of Marketing and Communications Manager Luke Shearing, Marketing Coordinator George Robson, and Marketing Intern Megan Bowen, were nominated for the awards following another successful year for the College.

The Marketing Department received Highly Commended accolades in the Innovation & Creativity Award and the Digital & Social Media Campaign Award, Silver Awards for the Targeted Recruitment Campaign and Marketing Team of the Year awards, and a Gold Award in the Communications Campaign category. Marketing Coordinator George Robson also received a Gold Award in the Outstanding Individual Achievement in College Marketing category, for his work as part of the team over the past year.

Speaking on these awards, Marketing and Communications Manager, Luke Shearing, said:

“I am incredibly proud that we have been recognised nationally winning six awards at the FE First Awards 2020, particularly in the most challenging of years. We have worked tirelessly to deliver events and campaigns to inform and attract a record number of top students from across the region to Barton Peveril. We are privileged to work at a fantastic College, with great colleagues, and a clear focus on improving the lives and experiences of thousands of young people each year.”
