Colleges set to recruit Future Leaders for Graduate Management Programme

The Further Education sector are recruiting participants for a new graduate management programme, part of the Government’s response to COVID-19 recovery for the economy.

Funded through the Department for the Economy’s Skills Intervention programme, the Future Leaders Graduate Management Programme, will be run in collaboration by South Eastern Regional College (SERC), South West College (SWC), Northern Regional College (NRC) and North West Regional College (NWRC).

Debbie Scott, Programmes Manager at SERC said,

“This newly developed programme runs for 24 weeks, commencing this October. Applicants must be graduates with a degree (level 6) from any discipline. Participants will be placed with an employer for 30 hours per week – matched by their CV and career aspirations – where they will complete a business/service improvement project. They will receive a weekly training allowance of £150 per week.

She added, “As well as gaining valuable industry experience with a view to securing employment, participants will work towards a Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification which is supported by 4 hours online learning per week through their host college.”
