A new suite of courses to support T Level teachers has been announced by the Education and Training Foundation (ETF).

These will serve as the backbone for T Level teachers in their delivery of embedded English, maths and digital (EMD) skills.

Participants will learn how to identify resources and activities to help learners develop and demonstrate their EMD knowledge, skills and understanding in a vocational context.

The courses are aimed at teachers and educators who work directly with learners in the delivery and assessment of T Levels, including staff in school sixth forms and anyone from Further Education working with learners.

Paul Kessell-Holland, National Head of Curriculum Design Projects, ETF said:

“The ETF is very pleased to announce these new courses, which will equip educators with the tools they need to deliver high-quality learning outcomes.

“English Maths and Digital skills are at the heart of all future careers for young people and supporting teachers to deliver T Level is crucial to raising the status of technical education.”

The EMD courses are being run as both online resources and face-to-face/live online sessions. They form part of the ETF’s T Level Professional Development (TLPD) offer.

The courses are available to book via the ETF’s Professional Development platform and start from 21 February 2022.
