Stars turn out for Hair and Beauty showcase at Bradford College

Cruella De Vil was among the stars to make an appearance at a parents’ evening with a twist at Bradford College.

Hair and Beauty students invited loved ones into the college salons to be styled like the stars.

Students were challenged to create a movie-inspired look on their models.

The Time to Shine evening is an annual event designed to allow students to demonstrate to family and friends the technical skills they have developed since starting their Hair and Beauty course this academic year.

As well as the villain from 101 Dalmatians film, Tinkerbell from Peter Pan also made an appearance along with models showing off henna hand designs and a Kim Kardashian inspired make-up look.

The evening also served as a chance for tutors to recognise the progress of their students with a number of special awards handed out including the most improved award, the happy award, the most helpful award and the 100 per cent attendance award.

Bradford College offers a range of courses in hair and beauty in its state-of-the-art facilities within the £50m David Hockney Building on Great Horton Road including a nail bar, hair salon, beauty therapy rooms and a spa – all of which are open to the public offering a chance for clients to enjoy treatments provided by the students
