Virtual Masterclass with Celebrity Hairdresser Lee Stafford

The new year has brought all kinds of challenges but that hasn’t stopped the team at the Lee Stafford Academy of Barbering, Hairdressing and Applied Therapies, with the celebrity hairdresser (@leestaffordhair) hosting a virtual masterclass for students at NPTC Group of Colleges (@NPTCGroup).

Lee Stafford along with Paul Watts, European Colour Design Team Member for JOICO, inspired students with a live on-line cutting masterclass.  Paul demonstrated one of Lee’s recipes, the short graduated hair-cut, and gave students an insight into what it takes to succeed in the hairdressing profession.  The students were also given the opportunity to ask questions in the interactive masterclass and are now looking forward to practising this recipe in preparation for their assessments.

The Lee Stafford Academy of Hairdressing, Barbering and Applied Therapies is the first and only one of its kind in Wales. Not just a celebrity endorsement, the training programme has been developed by Lee himself with specialists to train not only the students but our experienced hair and

barbering staff. Students learn specially designed ‘recipes ’which are unique to Lee Stafford Academies, reflecting some of the most cutting-edge styles seen in salons across the UK. This is training that you can’t get anywhere else, carried out in specialist branded salons in Afan College (Port Talbot), Brecon and Newtown, and the College aims to make its students the most employable in the country.
