Sustainability is the avoidance of the depletion of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance.
Sustainability means meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In addition to natural resources, we also need social and economic resources.
Sustainability is a societal goal with three dimensions: the environmental, economic and social dimension. This concept can be used to guide decisions at the global, national and at the individual consumer level.
