Enterprise Rent-A-Car Backs ‘Fulltime Student Award’ and Calls for Nominations to Showcase Learning Excellence
@Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the latest organisation to demonstrate its commitment to recognising and rewarding individuals that have gone the extra mile with its sponsorship of the Institute of Motor Industry’s (IMI) Fulltime Student Award.
The IMI Awards are renowned for putting the spotlight on industry excellence and celebrating the energy and enthusiasm of the new generation entering the sector.
“This a really exciting opportunity to applaud those students who have made an outstanding contribution to their learning, both personally and professionally, during an unprecedented time,” comments Stuart Sandell, Assistant Vice President, Enterprise.
“The IMI is looking for nominees who have demonstrated true commitment, innovation and a proactive approach to learning, alongside making a positive contribution to their place of study.
“These are not easy achievements given the challenges students and the education system have had to overcome in the last 18 months. Steely determination has been required to not only adapt to these changes, but also succeed.”
The Fulltime Student Award highlights the exceptional achievement of an outstanding student who has made an extraordinary contribution to the college or wider community.
Open to entrants that are currently working towards or have completed a programme during 2021/22, there are no age restrictions, and applicants can be on an intermediate, advanced or higher-level programme in any discipline.
Steve Nash, CEO of the IMI adds:
“Across the UK and the automotive sector, colleges, training centres, tutors, students and apprentices have overcome the obstacles remote learning and end point assessments have presented. Many students and apprentices have gone above and beyond what is expected of them and our Fulltime Student Award recognises the inspirational nature of these accomplishments.
“We are delighted to have Enterprise join us in showcasing the best in the automotive sector and together, urge the automotive community to nominate students and apprentices who they believe have made an outstanding start to a long-term commitment to the industry.”
The 2022 Awards will be announced at the IMI Dinner in London next March. Nominations for individuals and organisations can be made in every category:
