.@ESFAgov ‏to Double Apprenticeship Funding Bands

ESFA 550x420

ESFA today (17 May) updated details about the funding bands that will apply for existing apprenticeship frameworks and apprenticeship standards.

The list of apprenticeship standards shows the apprenticeship standards that have an approved assessment plan and are ready for employers and training organisations to use.

The frameworks spreadsheet sets out the funding bands that will apply for existing apprenticeship frameworks.

Apprenticeship funding band structure

Following consideration of the current funding band structure, ESFA have decided to move to a new 30 band structure from August 2018 for new starts. This new structure will include more bands, with smaller increments between bands. The maximum will remain at £27 000.

ESFA are working with the Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA) to ensure that any new standards that are approved for delivery are allocated to one of the 15 current funding bands which will apply until August and to one of the new 30 funding bands, to take effect from August.
