From education to employment

A Level Results Day – What you need to know

When is results day?

A Level results are available on Thursday 16 August 2018. Your results will be available from 8am.

Where do I collect my results from?

Results can we collected from the Centre for Creative Industries, Off Queen Street, Exeter.

What happens next?

Firstly, take some time to let everything sink in. Then, if you’re going to university, make sure you have your Track sign-in details handy. If you’ve been offered a place, your confirmation letter should appear in Track between five and seven days after your place is confirmed. Please be aware you are not emailed or posted a letter.

I’ve done better than expected…

If you had a conditional firm offer you met and exceeded, you might be curious about courses with higher entry requirements.

If so, you can see what’s available on the UCAS Adjustment service.

Things didn’t go to plan…

If your results are not what you were expecting, remember there is support available. Contact our Progression and Employability team at [email protected]. You may also want to speak to friends and family who can support you.

If you didn’t quite get the grades you needed, the university or college you’ve applied for may still offer you a place.

If this doesn’t happen…

Take a look at course vacancies through the UCAS Clearing service, or courses available at our Centre for University Level Studies. You could also think about other options like a gap year or an apprenticeship, or looking for employment before applying again next year.

Good luck!
