Live webchat will air anxieties about financial impact of education

An award-winning TV and radio presenter will be the host of a live “webchat” this afternoon to answer queries on the issue of debt.
“Financial expert” Martin Lewis will chair the discussion, to take place later this afternoon, as “Student Finance Week” continues. According to a statement released earlier this week: “The week long event aims to raise awareness of the student finance package and hopes to ensure that finance is not seen as a barrier to those considering further and higher education”.
“Many students and their parents are still not aware of the financial help available such as a non-repayable grant to help with living costs for the lowest income full-time students and loans that do not have to be paid back until students are earning over £15,000 a year”.
