Further Education Capital Transformation Fund

Stage 1 applications have now closed.

The guidance for stage 2 of the bidding process is now available for further education colleges and designated institutions to consider.

There were a large number of applications to stage 1 of the FE Capital Transformation Fund bidding process.

We are feeding back to applicants for stage 1 and those successful at stage 1 will be invited to apply to stage 2.

Bid applications submitted at stage 2 will be scored against the assessment criteria published in the guidance. We expect to approve the highest scoring bid applications that are affordable within the funding envelope for round 1.

Submit your stage 2 application, including templates and supporting documentation, by 23.59 on 8 October 2021 using the application portal as set out in the guidance.

The department reserves the right not to accept bid applications submitted after the deadline.

Questions and answers will be published weekly to those invited to apply to stage 2 via the application portal.

Details of how to register with the application portal have been sent to those invited to apply to stage 2.

In order to submit a stage 2 bid, you must have submitted a stage 1 bid and had notification of approval from DfE to submit a stage 2 bid.

We cannot accept bids from further education colleges and designated institutions that did not submit a successful stage 1 bid.
