IP2.2 seeks activities that will support SMEs to build their capacity to provide project/placement/internship opportunities for people 50+ and to recognise the value of keeping hold of talent or bringing experience into their workforce, as well as the barriers to employment that they face. This could also include the brokerage of opportunities to encourage and increase work placements, development opportunities and apprenticeships for those aged 50+ through wider employer engagement and involving supply chains The programmes of activity must be delivered across the whole of the Humber. Applicants must demonstrate how they will ensure that is achieved and that participants and SMEs in each local authority area of the Humber take part in the programme (Hull, East Riding, North and North East Lincolnshire).
