AIM Awards finalists at the prestigious FAB Awards

Derby-based AIM Awards are delighted to announce they have been shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Awarding Body of the Year’ Award for the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) 2018 Awards for the second year running.  After scooping the top prize for qualification of the year at the 2016 awards, AIM Awards are aiming for gold in 2018.

A record number of entries were received for this year’s awards, now in its 4th year. The Awards recognise and celebrate the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees to education and skills in the UK over the past year. The Awards sponsored by Creatio, take place on the 18th October at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester during the FAB Annual Conference.

AIM Awards is a national Awarding Organisation, offering a large number of Ofqual regulated qualifications at different levels and in a wide range of subject areas.

AIM Awards Chief Executive Linda Wyatt said: “What an amazing achievement, to be a finalist once again is a fantastic accolade for AIM Awards. We’ve had another great year, we continue to work exceptionally hard to enable better futures for our learners, we strive to continually evolve AIM to ensure we meet the needs of industry, our partners and learners”. Linda continued “We just need to keep our fingers crossed that we win on the night as that would be the icing on the cake for the whole team at AIM Awards and would be a just reward for all their hard work and dedication”.

Tom Berwick, Chief Executive of FAB said “The FAB Awards is an opportunity for the industry to come together to celebrate success and share good practice. We received record entries to the FAB Awards again this year and the standard as always was exceptionally high. We look forward to announcing the winners at the Awards dinner on the 18th October.”
