From education to employment

College offers FREE breakfast networking event

Talent United, the employer engagement initiative run by Barnsley College (@barnsleycollege), will host a free breakfast networking event on Wednesday 10 November, 9.30am to 11.30am.

This event is part of the College’s range of enterprise activities and workshops hosted to mark Global Entrepreneurship Week, a campaign to promote enterprise and entrepreneurship.

James Robinson, Director of Next Step Asset Finance Ltd. will be the guest speaker at the event and will discuss his experience of working in the financial sector.

James said:

“I have had careers in both music and education however since being introduced to the world of asset finance back in 2015, I’ve never looked back!

“I work with businesses of all ages, shapes and sizes throughout the UK and in all sectors supporting them with purchases of new or used equipment or vehicles. By utilising a system whereby a monthly payment is secured, I ensure they have the ability to access the assets they desire without it adding pressure to cash flow.”

The networking event will allow business professionals to meet, form relationships, recognise, create and act upon business opportunities, share information and much more.

Barnsley College is working with businesses to lead the economic recovery and meet employers’ needs, both now and for future roles, by providing students and adults with the skills to succeed.
