Don’t wait until September – start your adult education course in January
The Christmas decorations are back in the loft and it’s cold and dark outside. Your bank balance has taken a pounding and you’re struggling to fasten the button on your jeans, suffering from the Christmas and New Year’s food and drink hangover, all while wondering what you’re doing with your life.
Summer seems like an eternity away and university professors have already scientifically pre-empted that Monday 15 January will be “Blue Monday”, the most miserable day of the year. Does this 12 monthly situation sound familiar?
It’s drilled into us that January has to be the month of low expectations, self-berating and cutting out vices – but it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. Here at Havering College, we have found plenty of reasons to be cheerful! Namely our wide range of adult education courses available to start in this month.
So whether you’re looking to get qualified, upskill, change career or for some personal development, you don’t need to wait until September to start your studies.
The new year is the perfect time to take stock of your life. So rather than make New Year’s resolutions that will be broken – take control of and shape your future by signing up for higher education.
We are holding an open evening on 18 January 2018 for anyone considering starting a course in January. You will have the opportunity to find out about the different courses we run, the career paths they can lead to, meet our inspirational tutors and take a tour of Havering College and its facilities.
