From education to employment

Jump into January at Borders College Open Days #lifeatBordersCollege

For the past two years, Borders College has welcomed the new year by opening its doors to members of the public at its Open Days, and 2019 will be no different with Wednesday 30th January being the date of choice.

Following the success of the 2017 and 2018 events, each bringing in excess of 200 visitors to the Borders’ only Further Education college, the local education provider is carrying on the tradition with hopes to see even more local faces coming to find out what #lifeatBordersCollege is all about.

Both the Scottish Borders Campus in Galashiels, and the Newtown St Boswells campus will be open from 2-7pm, with staff and students on hand to answer course enquiries and provide advice.

The ever popular campus and student accommodation tours will again be conducted by the Borders College Students’ Association’s capable Student Ambassadors, who are right at the fore of the student experience and can impart their own unique knowledge and experiences of college life.

Perhaps you are about to leave school, thinking of changing career path, or looking to pick up new skills?
