National Vocational Qualifications Day

DESPITE celebrities such as chef Jamie Oliver and musician Kate Nash reaching the peak of their professions as the result of a vocational qualification, often these do not get the recognition they deserve.


Wednesday 23 July 2008 is VQ Day, a national day of celebration for students studying vocational qualifications.


This national event, supported by entrepreneurs such as Anne Summers boss Jacqueline Gold, has seen the nomination of VQ heroes and the creation of a national roll call of students who have completed a vocational qualification this year, on
