@Overburyplc delivers first framework fit out for @WarwickUni

A leading fit out and refurbishment specialist has celebrated its appointment to the University of Warwick’s new five-year building refurbishment framework by delivering the agreement’s first project.

Overbury has completed the fit out and refurbishment of eight lecture theatres and an M&E and plant room in the Faculty of Social Sciences buildings.

Works included the configuration of new tiered and collaborative bench-style seating, curved and angular lighting and the installation of other technical equipment.

The project was delivered in partnership with architects Berman Guedes Stretton, and engineering consultancy Couch Perry Wilkes.

It is the first project to be commissioned by Warwick through the new framework, which will deliver design and build projects focused on the development and refurbishment of the Russell Group University’s existing estate.

Overbury will work in partnership with Warwick on its ambitious plans to “create a campus of the future”, offering world-class facilities to students, staff and visitors.
