Details
This document provides information on how pupils who participated in the 2015 optional reception baseline offered by the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) performed in their key stage 1 (KS1) teacher assessments in the summer of 2018.
This will be useful for people who want to understand more about the statistical relationship between these 2 assessments, including researchers, educators, and others with an interest in primary education.
The reception baseline assessment is a new national assessment for reception-year pupils in state-funded primary schools in England. We will use it to form the start of school level progress measures between reception and year 6.
