From education to employment

The Youth Group, EYC Global and Digital Notion announce the “Digital Notion Academy”

Youth-first enterprise The Youth Group (@TheYouthGroupUK), talent development firm EYC Global and software company Digital Notion have partnered to produce “Digital Notion Academy,” an innovative online training programme for young people seeking training in the digital sector.

For new trainees and experienced professionals alike, staying on the cutting edge of digital is a constant struggle. Emerging technologies and state of the art solutions are emerging at an almost inescapable pace, leaving many courses and trainers unable to bring students to the forefront of digital technology.

The Digital Notion Academy will provide training in coding, website design, and app development through interactive online courses aimed at increasing employability by providing learners with the skills needed to remain competitive in the industry.

The courses are outcomes based, providing learners with the digital skills and practical experience to put them on the bleeding edge of the digital  industry, with learners able to tailor their experience to helping them get a job or apprenticeship, get into further education, or become an entrepreneur.

The Digital Notion Academy began after Digital Notion and EYC Global began noticing gaps in the learner knowledge of fresh digital graduates, and current professionals often holding CVs that were five years behind the cutting edge. The Youth Group came on board as subject experts in all things youth, able to connect Digital Notion Academy to young people.

Colin, Director of Innovation at EYC Global said:

“At EYC Global we strive to be the best we can be, to inspire our learners to feel the same about themselves. Their new skills and knowledge gained, will instil the confidence to grow and enjoy the journey of self-development and opportunity. That’s why I’m so proud of the potential of this programme and the potential for individuals it will bring.”

Jack, CEO of The Youth Group said:

“I’m really looking forward to working with EYC Global and Digital Notion to help make a difference for more young people with the Digital Notion Academy. I really believe in giving young people the opportunity they need to succeed in the arena they choose, and I can’t wait for young people to see what the Digital Notion Academy can do for them”

Digital Notion Academy is set to launch on 12th April 2021, with learners able to enrol from 3rd May 2021.
