From education to employment

With funding stretched to its limits across Further Education, TOTUM could help put money back in the pot.

If you haven’t heard of TOTUM, it’s the new revamped and rebranded NUS extra – the only student discount card that puts profit back into the movement.

TOTUM not only makes students’ money go further but for minimal effort, could become a valuable source of income for your organisation.

FE providers already selling the card use the funds to support learner voice, their students’ unions and enrichment activities.

Mark Rugman, Union Development Manager, said:

“With all the discounts available, Derby College Students’ Union has found it easy to sell the TOTUM card. From enrolment to Freshers’ Fairs, to sales throughout the year; we’ve seen valuable income to the students’ union enabling us to continue the valued Student Voice and enrichment activities.

“TOTUM is also a conversation starter… When speaking to students in the canteen or social spaces, it’s effortless to initiate a conversation about saving money.

“The TOTUM app has become one of the best tools to communicate with students – with over 1,400 registered TOTUM cardholders, Derby College is now using our UnionCloud and TOTUM platforms to advertise events, set up groups and publicise articles about Derby College, student life and Derby City.”

Bringing even more benefits to almost 1 million active card holders, the new TOTUM app and card enhance the user experience and gives partners greater exposure.

If your learners are aged 16-years or over and in full or part-time education for at least 10-hours study weekly, you could be eligible to sell the card.

Now is a great time to sign up to sell TOTUM.

Once you’re registered to sell the card, the TOTUM team will send you free marketing assets and POS on a regular basis and our customer services team are on-hand to answer any questions and provide additional sales support if needed.
