James Clappison MP, Member of Parliament for Hertsmere, and Shadow Minister for Work and Pensions takes questions from the floor at ALP’s Forum for Employment & Skills.
In June 2007 James was appointed Front Bench Spokesman for Home Affairs. In the June 1999 reshuffle, he was appointed Front Bench Spokesman for Education and Employment. From September 2001 to July 2002, he served as Shadow Minister for Work. From July to November 2002, he was a Shadow Minister for the Treasury. In July 2007, he was appointed to his present position.
