Consulting firm MH&A has today relaunched as Avencera, a business built for the AI era.

Avencera is an AI-native, human-led consultancy that helps leaders reimagine and reinvent in the AI era. We work across education, health, government and enterprise – combining imagination, market insight, execution smarts, and adaptive collaboration to deliver real world change.

Avencera brings the imagination, market insight, execution smarts, and adaptive collaboration models required to help clients reimagine, reinvent, and deliver real-world change in an increasingly sophisticated, interconnected, and AI-led environment.

Through its own reinvention, Avencera has:

  • Extended its offerings into the health and enterprise client markets, building on its record for delivering value to clients in government and education.
  • Established AI-specialist development capability, to help clients build and adopt the solutions that will transform what they do, and how they do it.
  • Established a presence in New York City, so it can connect clients with leading edge thinking and solutions from the East Coast’s innovation ecosystems.
  • Launched A WORKS, a space to collaborate with thinkers, innovators, makers, and clients, to create new solutions to complex problems.

Of the change, founder and CEO Matt Hamnett said:

“AI is reshaping the world faster than most can respond. Leaders are navigating noise and nonsense to make decisions that will shape our future. To do that, they need to reimagine and reinvent. Avencera brings the combination of imagination, insight, execution smarts, and adaptive collaboration models that the moment demands.”

Avencera provides strategy, innovation, transformation, and learning support to clients in Government, education, health and care, and the enterprise space – helping leaders make the decisions that matter most and build and implement new solutions to generate real impact.

Over the last eight years, MH&A built a strong reputation in the sector, working with clients in Government, national bodies, awarding organisations, colleges and training providers on a wide range of strategy, transformation, qualification, assessment, and learning design projects.

“We’re proud of the work we’ve done with colleagues across the education sector over the last eight years,” Hamnett said. “Through Avencera, we’re excited to help the sector mitigate the risks which AI poses – and seize the incredible opportunities it presents to create dynamic, personalised, learning whilst easing the workload of educators.”

“We’ve spent the last six months building an agentic solution which deploys a research method unimaginable without AI, whilst fundamentally accelerating the pace of qualification and learning product development and creating unique new tools to help educators build programmes and content. We’re excited to work with colleagues on this and similarly bold innovation projects.”
