From education to employment

Getting inspired: January programmes for young people left feeling directionless after the pandemic.

Careers charity Adviza (@Adviza_Charity) will launch new Prince’s Trust Team programmes on Monday 24th January 2022 in Aylesbury and Bracknell.

This fun, sociable and life-changing initiative is a 12-week personal development programme for people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment or training. It includes community and team work, workplace skills coaching and exposure to new career options. It helps participants develop confidence, ambition and skills, gain a qualification and meet new people, with many typically going on to find work after the course.

Adviza is calling on young people who may feel disengaged from the world due to the pandemic or otherwise, leaving them feeling lost or without a sense of direction in education or careers, to get in touch to join the programme.

“We are also reminding parents or guardians, teachers, youth club workers and anyone who can help that the Teams programme transforms young lives, so if they know anyone who has been disengaged from education or work, please encourage them to join the programme or get in touch to learn more,” says Lee Teideman, who manages the Team programme for Adviza.
